Munnar is a beautiful hill station, and was the summer resort of the British. Tourists come here to see the vast tea plantations of the area.
Eravikulam National Park is located along the Western Ghats in the Idukki district of Kerala. Twenty six species of mammals have been recorded in the park including the largest surviving population of Nilgiri tahr.
Thekkady is a town near Periyar National Park. It is considered a haven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, nutmace, ginger, and clove.
Alappuzha(Alleppey) is considered to be the oldest planned city in this region and the lighthouse built on the coast of the city is the first of its kind along the Laccadive Sea coast.
Kerala Backwaters is a maze of water bodies stretching over 900 kilometers. One of the most important aspect of tourism in Kerala, the backwaters were used traditionally as waterways to ferry rice and spices from one places to another in kettuvallams or the traditional rice barges which now forms the major tourist attraction and ferry tourists and visitors from one destination to another.
Raja Ravi Varma rose to international fame when he won an award at the exhibition of paintings in Vienna in 1873. Ravi Varma is particularly acclaimed for his paintings depiciting the mythological characters.

    Cochin- Munnar (110 Kms 4 Hrs. approx.)

    Arriving at Cochin. From Cochin we proceed to Munnar – is well known for its lush green hills and tea plantation. After Lunch we will Visit Rajamalai National Park is famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 sq. km., this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds.Evening is for Leisure activities. Overnight stay at Munnar.

    Munnar Sightseeing

    After Breakfast we start our city tour with Tea Museum This place is recognized for having some of the best and most beautiful tea gardens across the globe. Later we will Visit Rajamalai National Park is famous for its endangered inhabitant - the Nilgiri Tahr. Spread over an area of 97 sq. km., this park is also home to several species of rare butterflies, animals and birds. Then visit Mattupetty Dam, is rimmed by a beautiful lake and sprayed with rolling grasslands and lush tea estates. Later we will visit Echo Point, Rose Garden. Overnight stay at Munnar.

  • Day 3

    Munnar– Periyar (Thekkady)

    After Breakfast we proceed to Periyar for sightseeing. Periyar Tiger Reserve, is in the mountainous Western Ghats of Kerala, southern India. This wildlife sanctuary is home to tigers and a significant elephant population, as well as rare lion-tailed macaques, sambar deer, leopards and Indian bison. In the park's north, Periyar Lake is popular for boat rides. We enjoy Boat Ride in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Then we visit Spice Garden, It Offers a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Overnight stay at Periyar.

  • Day 4

    Periyar - Alleppey

    Today after breakfast we proceed to Alleppey, Alleppey is known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Offering the best tourist places in Alleppey, this charming place is the hub of Kerala’s backwaters and is home to a huge network of backwaters and more than thousand houseboats. It is also famous for its boat races, marine products, and coir industry. Also enjoy Boat Ride in Alleppey backwaters. Overnight stay at Alleppey.

  • Day 5

    Alleppey to Trivandrum via Jatayu Earth Centre

    After breakfast we proceed to Trivandrum Enroute, we visit Jatayu Earth Centre. Jatayu Earth Centre that hosts the world’s largest bird sculpture. Spanning over 65 acres across four hills. Jatayu is a legendary bird from the Indian epic Ramayana. After arrival in Trivandrum Check in to hotel. Evening free for leisure Overnight stay at Trivandrum

  • Day 6

    Trivandrum

    After Breakfast Proceed to visit Shree Padmanabhaswamy Temple. This is dedicated to Lord Vishnu situated at Thiruvananthapuram. Wear or carry plain white Lungi for Gents (Including child), and Plain saree for ladies (Including child girl). For child girls carry parker polka. This is mandatory for this temple. No sleeveless are allowed for ladies. Later visit Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery and Napier Museum. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.

Payment Terms

§  Monthly payment as per SHP amount for twelve months between 5-10 of every month.

§  13 Installment complimentary from Smita Holidays.

 

Terms & Conditions

§  SHP is applicable for the given itinerary only.

§  This tour cannot be clubbed with any other offer/Tour.

§  The advance is to be paid by the 5th-10th of every month.

§  Final confirmation of the tour plan date & names of persons traveling together by the 9th month/9th advance from the start of the tour date.

§  Need to confirm the mode of travel i.e by air/train by the 9th month as per SHP type.

§  After payment of all 12 advance, the 13th advance will be paid by Smita Holidays in tour cost.

§  If traveler regularly pay 9 months advance, then only He/She can avail the benefits of 13th advance free benefit.

§  Skip or fail to pay monthly advance will calculate in next month advance amount.

§  Free cancellation will be applicable for till 9 months only.

§  In the event of cancellation, the refund will be processed from working days 7 to 30 days after cancellation.

§  The refund will be in the original form of payment only.

§  Mentioned SHP cost is applicable for FIT Tours only.

§  SHP for Group: Extra cost difference will be charged according to travel date, Itinerary, Transportation Mode, Number of Pax, Tour Manager Service etc.
