Murud-Janjira is the local name of a famous fort and tourist place
situated on an island just off the coastal city of Murud. The Fort is situated
on an oval-shaped rock off the Arabian Sea coast.
Kashid is a beach village in Murud taluka on the shores of
the Arabian Sea, in the North Konkan region. It has varied landscape that
comprises of cliffs, rocks and golden sand.
Korlai

Village in Murud taluka. It was built on an island (Morro de Chaul) which
guards the way to the Revdanda Creek.
Varadvinayak, also spelt as Varadavinayaka, is one of the Ashtavinayak temples
of the Hindu deity Ganesha. The temple was built (restored) by Peshwa General
Ramji Mahadev Biwalkar in 1725AD.
Revdanda Fort & Beach: Revdanda Fort, also known as Revdanda Aagarkot, was built
by Portuguese Captain Soj in 1558 CE. In 1740 CE, Revdanda along with the Korlai
Fort came under Maratha kingdom as per the treaty signed by the Portuguese.
